The Environment will be "Steam Filled Arena" which gives an advantage to the Pyrus and the Aquos Attributes and "Darkus" has been deemed the winner of the honor to set the Gate Card first.

ENVIRONMENT SIDE-EFFECT:

"Sauna": Steam has been used to relax and heal the body for humans of many ages. Bakugan feel the same effects as well. Fighting in an arena with healing effects makes the Bakugan's healing factor become quickened. Any decrease to a Bakugan's Power Level is recovered by 100 points a turn.

The Environmental Side Effect is taken into account before any Ability Card effect or Special Effect.

Great. Let's begin.

As Josh and I post moves we will give a little description behind everything we do, placed in this yellow font. This yellow font is not required for you to place when you brawl, however. It is merely a description of what we are doing in the topic, if it isn't self-explanatory.

Life Gauge: 500 points
Life Gauge 100%

Okay, there's two kinds of brawls you can do. 1) A Life Gauge brawl. This is where both brawlers have a Life Gauge that has 500 points. As you lose rounds, the Power Level you lose of the Life Gauge will be determined by some math you do at the end of the round. You'll see this explained later in this example.

To present your Life Gauge, you simply need to say "Life Gauge: 500" or if you want to alter this to make yours unique, go right ahead, you just need to show a number and the image of the Life Gauge changing.

After you say the line above, you can click on the corresponding button in the "Emotes" box to the left side of the reply box after hitting the "Reply" button at the top or bottom of each topic page. The top Life Gauge is 100% and the values go downward from there. Simply click the right one and you will see "life100" (with colons instead of quotation marks) appear where your blinking text cursor is. That's all you need to do. That code will be replaced by the image once you hit "Send".

Gate Card, Set!

Okay, this is the first thing that will need to be done per round. Setting a Gate Card is determined by the "Coin Toss" above. I won the Coin Toss, so I set the Gate Card first. The Gate Card is only given to one brawler per round. It's an extra option that gives that brawler a slight lead, but it can be easy to nullify it and make it worthless. However, if played right it can lure your opponent into a trap or can be a real positive boost for your Bakugan.

To place the Gate Card picture, look into the "Emotes" box to the left side of the reply box after hitting the "Reply" button at the top of bottom or each topic page. Simply click it and you will see "GateCard" (with colons instead of quotation marks) appear where your blinking text cursor is. That's all you need to do. That code will be replaced by the image once you hit "Send".

Great. A Power Stand!

When you roll a Bakugan, you'll see an image. There's 5 results you could get from a Bakugan roll; A Normal Stand, a +50 Power Stand, a +100 Power Stand, a +150 Power Stand and a +200 Power Stand. Every Bakugan has the same change to receive any one of these results; 20% for each result equaling 100%.

Next, you post your Bakugan's Stats like so. These can simply be copied and pasted from your brawling profile. Be sure you post everything for that Bakugan's stats, or you'll be breaking a rule!

Power Level: 500 + 100 (from Power Stand) + 100 (from Environment Attribute Boost) = 700
Evasion: 8

Special Shot: 65
Special Effect: Searing Heat: If your Helios' Base Power Level (including Power Stands) is currently lower than an opponent's, once per Brawl, Helios can prevent that opponent from using any Battle Forms during this round.

Like I said, this set of stats is copy and pasted from your Brawling profile. Also, you'll notice the +100 for each of the Power Stand and the Environment Boost is displayed; the math is shown being done out. This needs to be done for every post you make in a brawl. This is to prevent silly mistakes from being made and to help everyone keep track of what you're doing. Your brawl won't be checked if you don't do the math out. Wink

Keep track of your Special Shot points as well. These point add up and unlock Special Shots, which can really turn the tide of battle later on!

Also, you can color your Stats by highlighting the section you wish to color and clicking on the [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]button. From there, you'll see a grid of colors appear. Select the color you wish and you'll see some "[color(your color code of your choice here)] (your stats here)[/color.]" appear. You can replace the "#XXXXXX" Or whatever the code may be by simply typing "red", "blue", "yellow", ect instead to make simpler color choices.

The Attribute color codes are as follows, if you want to use the same colors as everyone else.

Pyrus = "red"
Sub-Terra = #ad5c07
Haos = "yellow"
Darkus = "indigo"
Aquos = "blue"
Ventus = "#00ff99"

Again, you don't need to use these colors if you don't want to, but keep to the relation. A shade of brown for Sub-Terra and a shade of red for Pyrus, ect... is just fine. Wink

These Bakugan Traps stand alongside Battle with your Bakugan. They can be used to gain an advantage against your opponent, and are thrown just like other Bakugan.

It is good to note as well that Tripod Epsilon has access to Pyrus, but he isn't Pyrus as of this moment. Therefore, he doesn't get the Attribute bonus. He can switch to Pyrus in the future to gain 100 points, however.

Unlike Trap Bakugan, Battle Gear and BakuNano are not rolled onto the field. You simply copy and paste the stats and combine them with your Bakugan currently in play. You also need to make a counter as to how many turns have passed since you deployed (or synced) it to your Bakugan. This will allow you to keep track of when the Special Effect will begin and change.

Keep in mind, the BakuNano boosts your BASE Power Level, not the Power Level at the time of syncing. Wink

That's all you need to do in order to use a BakuNano. It's fairly straightforward to use them. Keeping all stats displayed somewhere in the brawl makes it easier to reference. Displaying all stats, again, is required. Be thorough and confident in your math and you'll catch mistakes that often get missed, resulting in erasing of moves, which reveals items in your profile that are later not used, but are revealed in haste.

Well, seeing how this is your Gate Card, and we're tied in Power Level, I think it'd be an excellent time to pass this turn.

You have three available passes per brawl, in which you do nothing for the turn and let your opponent have another move. However, if they are to pass as well, the round will end at the current Power Level difference. Use this technique carefully.

Gate Card, Open!

Double Battle: If possible, each side of the battlefield must throw an additional Bakugan into play. No Ability Cards, Special Effects, Battle Gear, Bakugan Traps, or BakuNano may be activated until both new Bakugan enter the brawl. If one side is unable to add a Bakugan to the battlefield, then the round continues after the side that's able to add another Bakugan does so.

The more, the merrier... Right, Josh? Wink

If you possess the Gate Card, you may activate it at any time during the round. If your opponent doesn't possess any more Ability Card chances for the round, however, you can only use a Reactor Gate Card.

Simply follow the directions on the Gate Card's description.

A Special Effect is a special ability that all Bakugan have. They're Special, unique bursts of Power that allow you to gain an edge agaisnt someone while you're brawling them. Some effects last one round, some last one turn, and some even last the whole brawl! Read your Bakugan's Special Effect carefully.

Okay? See the "SUB-TERRA CRUSHER"? That is a Special Shot. The Special Shot points I've been gathering as the brawl progressed allows me to use an energized Bakugan or Trap throw when enough points are built up. Each Attribute has 3 Special Shots. You can only use a Special Shot of the Attribute you are throwing into the brawl, and the Special Shot needs to be announced BEFORE you roll the Bakugan.

Each Special Shot has a Special Shot point cost. Like Sub-Terra Crusher requires 150 Special Shot points in order to be used. I had 179, so I had enough to subtract 150 from 179 in order to leave me with 29 points remaining before the stand. Now to put the Special Shot into effect...

The extra Bakugan in play only hurts you more, Josh. Wink

SUB-TERRA CRUSHER: *REQUIRES 150 SS Points* When your Bakugan using Sub-Terra Crusher stands decrease each of your opponent's standing Bakugan's Power Levels by 150 points and decrease each of the opponent's Evasion stats by 2 points each.

Special Shot: 179 - 150 + 75 (from Sleipnir standing) = 104

Now, let me explain what just happened. I threw in my Bakugan Trap in combination with a Special Shot. That Special Shot affected each Bakugan on Josh's side of the field. But even more important, the Trap Bakugan doesn't need to be of the same Attribute of your Bakugan on the field in order to use it.

It is interesting to note that, not a single Ability Card has been used yet in the brawl. Many of our throwing options are being used quickly here. Eventually, it'll be all down to Ability Cards, and this is when things move fast and are easier to follow.

Similar to the three Gate Cards, an Ability Card may have G-Power boosts and particular instruction that all Brawlers have to obey. Ability Cards are quite forceful and when used properly can have an excellent effect on your opponents.

Simply should out "Ability Activate!" and then you'll be able to follow the effects of your Ability Card.

Effect:
- As long as you are using another Bakugan of the same attribute as a Tigrerra in your Brawling Profile, during this round, you may throw that Tigrerra of the same attribute from your Brawling Profile into play. The Power Level and Special Shot stats are the only stats applied to your total from the Tigrerra.
- Increases the Evasiveness of your Tigrerra by 4 points.
